iPad Pro - Overview & Specs

The form factor for tablets has been increasing in size and making it difficult to differentiate between them and medium sized laptop screens. Processor

Apple will be powering the iPad Pro with the new A9X processor, a definite upgrade from the A8X which was last seen in iPad Air 2.  The new A9X would increase its memory by doubling to that of A8X.   iPad Pro is equipped with many advanced features to make your picture taking experience even more memorable. It has an 8 MP iSight Camera with autofocus. The aperture rate is 2.4 with a five element lens. It has a Hybrid IR Filter with backside illumination and better face detection capabilities. The camera capable of controlling the amount of exposure with several other value-added features like burst mode, tap to focus, photo geo tagging and timer mode. The video recording supports 1080 HD recording with 30 frames per second and slow motion recording at an impressive 120 frames per second. You can also enjoy time lapse videos with better image stabilization, 3X video zoom, and video geo tagging.

Battery Life

Apple claims that the battery life for iPad Pro is expected to last for 10 hours. When considering the speedy and fast processor, it would surely need a lot of power. Apple also claims that iPad Pro is its only product which would automatically adjust its screen refresh rate by evaluating the amount of onscreen moment. And this is a feature which Apple believes would help save a lot of battery and increase its life.

iPad Pro Speakers

  iPad Pro will have four speakers. Apple says that this is the first time any of its product is having this many number of speakers. iPad Air 2 is expected to offer great sound quality and high volume. The new speakers are expected to increase volume by three times. The new sound system will surely help improve the overall music listening experience.

Apple Pencil

Apple has long said that touch is the best way to do things on your screen. Things have taken a new turn and now Apple is introducing its own version of pencil. It is hard to tell if Apple is really inspired by rival products which have similar devices or it just thinks that the pencil would add more utility to iPad Pro. The new stylus will come with the Apple iPad Pro. The new pencil would help you touch every single pixel as Apple has described. You need to plug the Apple Pencil into the iPad Pro’s Lightning Port to get it charged. And you would have to cough out an additional 99 USD to get one for your device.

The Smart Keyboard

It is obvious that a large tablet like iPad Pro needs to have a professional keyboard to take more benefit of it. The new keyboard will be available for an estimated price of USD 169. The keyboard can be slid under the tablet and is wide enough to be easily used in place of the touch screen version. It will obviously be a lot more ergonomic and easy to use.

Target Market

The estimated price of iPad Pro is around $ 799 which makes it a high end market product. The device comes with a greater storage capacity of 64 GBs. There are many added accessories which compliment this tablet and make it a lot more useful. However the upped price tag is not something that everyone would be comfortable with. Top company CEOs and senior Executives would however find it a very presentable device for meetings and other high profile corporate events.
